Friendly House has hundreds of backpacks filled with supplies and ready to go, barbers/hairdressers lined up to give free haircuts and so much more! We would love for volunteers to arrive around 2 or 2:30pm.
Parking will be a little bit of challenge, but there should be street parking around Friendly House and we have permission to park cars at the Fazio Funeral Home on Branch street that is a short walk to Friendly House. You can also park at Grafton Street School (corner of Grafton Street and Wall Street), they ask that you park near the basketball courts.
The event is open to the public from 3pm-5pm, and the portion of Wall Street and Thorne Street will be closed down starting at 1pm.
We will use RACM volunteers help with crowd control, handing out backpacks/food, and more!
We will have volunteer tshirts to wear. We would love help with set up and breakdown, but if you can't stay the whole time, that is ok too! Just let me know when you plan to be here!
